Poems
Thank you for taking the time to take a look at my writing. Here you will find a list of the poems that found a home.
I hope you will consider gifting yourself a copy of these anthologies: other than myself you will also be supporting small independent presses and many other writers.
Poem: Wander Leaf
Poetry Diary 2024 by Sunday Mornings at the River
Wander Leaf was written during a lecture in 2018/19. Right before class, I noticed a rather big dry leaf stuck in a tram. It inspired an unexpected tragic journey towards the winter season.
The poem has now a home in the Poetry Diary 2024 by Sunday Mornings at the River.
Poem: Making A Poet - Easy Recipe
Issue 1 of Spill of Quill's Creative Writing Magazine
This magazine collects multilingual poems and prose by students and alumni of the University of Zürich. The pieces are inspired by the two words that make the name of this writing club, "Spill" and "Quill". I am merely an average cook, nonetheless the two words led me to write a recipe.
Poem: Recollection
Issue 1 of Tropico Line Literary
This short poem is about nature and the memories, or perhaps the wishes, it triggers.
Tropico Line is the international version of A Linha do Trópico, the Portuguese magazine.

Poem: Diagnosed
Funeral for a Womb, Endometriosis Poems by Sunday Mornings at the River
Diagnosed was written shortly after recovering from a laparoscopy and exposes my feelings about Endometriosis and the surgery.
Endometriosis is a disease where tissue similar to the lining of the uterus grows outside the uterus, causing pain and/or infertility. It affects roughly 10% (190 million) of reproductive age people with a uterus globally.
